Why does shampoo sometimes take two applications to lather on my hair?

I don't think that it has to do with the water because the water from my shower has been the same for a while now. Perhaps it has something to do with how oily my hair is?Why does shampoo sometimes take two applications to lather on my hair?
If your hair is very oily, the first lather is stripping the grease away. The second lather then washes the hair %26amp; will lather much easier. You should try a product specifically for oily hair; that way you get clean hair but you don't strip away too much %26amp; dry out or damage your hair. Good luck!!!Why does shampoo sometimes take two applications to lather on my hair?
well it depends on what brand of shampoo u are using as well. there are soo many different kinds of shampoo's now for all types of hair- try changing ur shampoo for another one and see how that works out for u.
Hiya.

Are you a teenager? Somtimes teenagers hair seems to be a bit on the hastle side, although it wont last for that long. It could be a number of problems. Firstly, have you got a reliable shampoo? Some shampoos do tent to lather differently depending on your hair type. It can depend on how clean your hair is, if its very clean it will lather as not mich of the shampoo needs to be used, this produces lather. If you dont wash your hair every day and its gatherd more dirt, pollution from the air you will find it will not lather as much as most of the shampoo is being needed to clean the hair and scalp. It may be your hair, is your hair a tid oily or greasy ? If so on of these may be your probelm. With good hair and a good shampoo it wont be long before it lathers again.

Dont worry if your a teen, this hair will not last for too long x

Hope this helped: D

you don't use enough shampoo.
Hi, I think it'll have something to do with how greasy your hair is. In Salons they normally do 2 shampoos, the first is to clean and the second is to lift. So the first shampoo doesn't lather unless your hair is already really clean as grease and dirt stops it from lathering.
