Paul Mitchell Super Skinny works well, so does Redken Smooth Down. Both of these lines dont ';straighten'; the hair really, and no shampoo does, but they weigh down the hair and minimize frizz so straightening becomes easier. I used smooth down last week cuz i forgot i had some and it made my hair soooo shiny and waayy easier to straighten. and yeah im a guy too, These will help u out while straightening your hair making it easier and faster with better results. Remember to use a heat protector spray. Super Skinny has a serum that u put in your hair while its wet and blow dry or air dry and it cuts down frizz and reduces drying time by 30 percent i think it says. and if u have REALLY dry hair that doesnt get oily easy u can smooth a little more over your dry hair for more heat and damage protection.
