Whenever I wash or shampoo my hair it goes frizzy and horrible, why is this??!?

I have quite thick hair and it's surprisingly quite controlled but whenever i wash my hair it goes huge and frizzy! My friends say comb it when its wet but that seems to make it worse! Please help!Whenever I wash or shampoo my hair it goes frizzy and horrible, why is this??!?
If you wash it more then once a day then it will get frizzy.Only wash and condition it in the morning or at night. And then for it to dry try putting a cotton t-shirt or paper towels to stop the frizz.Whenever I wash or shampoo my hair it goes frizzy and horrible, why is this??!?
I suggest that u buy natural organic hair products. They make ur hair feel natural and makes it look good. The hair wont frizz up or go huge becasue u are using something that is 100% sulfate free which sulfate caused ur hair to go bad. After u wash ur hair make sure its dry and then brush it..those are my reccomidations...good luck!
only wash your hair once a week and invest in a dry shampoo so your hair doesnt get oily between washes. also, get a straitener that you use while your hair is stil wet. one that i like is wet to set. it will smooth out your hair really nicely.
your hair is dryed out! USE ALL MOISTURIZING PRODUCTS, DON'T USE HEAT STYLING, NO HAIR DYES MA'AM!
my hair has that problem. I found that after shampooing, use a deep conditioner. let it sit on your head for a few minutes, then rinse completely. when you get out, use a wide- toothed comb to GENTLY brush out and tangles (there won't be many since you conditioned). also, while it's wet, try applying a straightening balm, or conditioning mousse, or dove anti-frizz in your hair, let air dry- do not blow dry. if absolutely necessary, blow dry on low on cool.
i couldnt tell you why it is, most likely tho that it is just your hair type. try buying frizz ease products or similar to control the frizz

  1. Don't shampoo it, just condition! (Unless you've been sweating or your hair is particularly dirty) It sounds like your hair regulates the oils in your hair pretty well on its own, so washing is undoing all your hair & scalps' nice work. The water from the shower should be enough to clean your hair and clean any excess product in it. Then use a deep-moisturizing conditioner on your hair for at least 3-5 minutes. After this, use a wide-tooth comb to comb your hair (with the conditioner still on it.) Then rinse it out, lightly towel-dry your hair (as little as you can, since that can cause frizz), put a leave-in conditioner all over your hair (I like an anti-frizz smoothing milk), starting from ends to root, and let air-dry. Don't blow-dry your hair EVER -or on low with an excellent diffuser if you must. And it's not a bad idea to use a hair mask that you leave on +15 min every so often (you can also make your own.)

The real secret to getting wavy/perfect curls without frizz- Don't wash it every day.
